Everybody’s fine. We had a scare earlier this week, but everybody’s fine. Twelve and a half years in and I’m a bit shocked it’s never happened and hope it never happens again. It’s all surreal in my memory, especially now that he’s home, telling me all about pugs, and sticky hospital socks, and how we need more crackers. Gosh, clinging to the crumbs and socks and books everywhere. It’s all I want.
